The Neuquén Province reaffirmed its commitment to responsible resource development at the Potash Workshop, hosted by Argentina Potash. Provincial authorities and specialists discussed how synergy, innovation, and environmental care can redefine Argentina’s mining future. The event featured technical exchanges on geology, market dynamics, and development opportunities tied to potash—a critical natural resource for ensuring global food security.

"We propose to make way for new developments such as potash, whose extraction has many similarities with hydrocarbons and can take advantage of existing facilities." (translated from Spanish) stated Fabricio Gulino, Subsecretary of Energy, Mining and Hydrocarbons.

“Neuquén is a resource-rich province, and the Governor has tasked us with ensuring their responsible monetization,” said Secretary of Environment Leticia Esteves.

"There is a real opportunity in the face of the global shortage of this nutrient, which is key to agricultural productivity, especially in countries like Brazil and Argentina itself," added Carlos Portilla, Neuquén's Mining Director.

Argentina Potash appreciates the presence and engagement of Neuquén’s provincial authorities. We are confident that—with technical rigor and regulatory coordination—Argentina is positioned to lead potash development responsibly and sustainably in the southern Hemisphere.
